Health and Wellness Ministry

The vision of the Health and Wellness Ministry is to assist the congregation and the community in achieving optimal health and wellness of the mind, body, soul, and spirit. Our mission is to promote preventive measures to maintain a healthy lifestyle through health education and the Word of God.
Our prayer is “That you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (3 John 3:2).
Social Media Ministry
Ministry Leader: Sis Dawn McCarthy
The vision of the social media ministry is to “Spread the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,” as stated in 2 Corinthians 2:14. We are called to influence the world; therefore, our mission is to be the salt and light of the world and the vessel through which the word of God is spread.
Prayer Ministry
Ministry Leader: Sis Abimbola Fadahunsi
The ministry leads all the prayers for the week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The ministry leads the week of prayer and fasting 4 times a year in January, April, July, and October. The ministry also prays over all prayer requests sent to the church via email or the website from family members, friends, or anyone needing prayers. God has been faithful over this ministry.
Pastoral Care Mission Ministry
Ministry Leader: Cindy Newsome
In a visitation ministry, we seek to offer spiritual support services to our congregation and others during short and long-term sickness, recovery, and end-of-life. With a compassionate presence, we render prayer, love gifts, and a listening ear to those journeying through bereavement, as well as during the process of reconciliation with God. It guides our church resources to aid others in a closer walk with Jesus Christ.
Children’s Church Mission Ministry
Ministry Leader: Cindy Newsome
Children are a treasure from God. Our mission at ROACF is to help children grow in their spiritual walk with Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we teach the children bible scriptures, making the activities fun and interactive. We also pray, emphasizing the power of having a daily prayer life. Our greatest wish, and charge, is that each child will establish habits of godly living and grow to share the love of Christ with others.
Hospitality Ministry
Ministry Leader: Sis Linda Smith
We know that people come to the R.O.A.C.F. for many reasons, but whatever the reason may be, our mission is to give God the glory in ministering to all mankind in every stage of life. We will encourage, strengthen, and comfort those on the journey to becoming more like Jesus Christ. We aim to make every guest feel welcome and special with a sense of belonging.
ROCK OF AGES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Mission:
Women’s Ministry (Women Of Faith) Eph. 6:16
Our mission as women of faith is to glorify God through prayer and the study of the Word of God. We support and encourage each other. As Proverb 27:17 says, “Iron sharpeneth iron so as a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend”, so we help each other grow in the word of God.
Fellowship:
We believe that God has called us to fellowship with one another, but most importantly, he calls us to fellowship with him so that we may be enriched by coming together in love and unity.
Growth:
We believe that God desires for us to grow in our God-given Spiritual gifts.
Discipleship:
We minister to the needs of women and cultivate a Spirit of unity.
Goals:
- To equip women of all ages with the word of God
- To mentor girls/women so that they, in return, can become mentors in God’s vineyard.

Mission: To nurture and imbibe Godly nature in our men.
Vision: To create an enabling atmosphere for the continual spiritual growth of every man in our relationship with God, family, and society.
